Please tell us a bit about your current and historical work history.

Currently developing biomembrane nanoparticles as delivery vehicle for certain nutraceuticals under study by the NIH. Previously developed micron sized liposomes for oral delivery of sodium ascorbate and successfully put the product into commercial production. Have developed many nutraceutical, phytochemical and sports products. Recently started Innoject, LLC to develop an electronic autoinjector for the "self injection" market. Our device targets anyone who has to self inject and especially those who are needle-phobic or physically challenged such as with MS, Arthritis, etc.

What is your speciality? (e.g. Regulatory, Sales, R&D, Biz-Dev, Manufacturing, etc.)

Serial entrepreneur, inventor, solution provider. Specialize in formation of nanoparticles as delivery vehicles for actives, molecular physics including lipid phase morphology. Also enjoy the transformation of bench science into scaled production systems. Also have a background in process control, instrument design and electronics, especially embedded systems.

What do you hope to gain from attending the BioBeers Meetup events?
