Introduction
Hello, I am a biochem student that is hoping to work in the biotech industry after completion of my PhD.
Please tell us a bit about your current and historical work history.
I am currently a 3rd year graduate student working towards my PhD in biochemistry. My research is focus is the microtubule cytoskeleton of Giardia intestinalis and its associated proteins. I worked previously as a Professional Research Assistant in a lab focused on cell signaling pathways. I have a masters degree in forensic science and an Honours BSc in Biochemistry.
What is your speciality? (e.g. Regulatory, Sales, R&D, Biz-Dev, Manufacturing, etc.)
Biochemistry.
What do you hope to gain from attending the BioBeers Meetup events?
I would like to find a company willing to let me work for them for a two or three month internship next summer.
How far are you willing to travel to attend a BioBeers Meetup? (e.g. Boulder to Denver, Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs, etc.)
I would drive for about 30 mins.
Would you be willing to invite friends and colleagues to BioBeers Meetups?
