Please tell us a bit about your current and historical work history.
I am a public health analyst working at CDC. I've worked in various capacities at CDC: project management, research, database management. Currently I'm working on developing an IT system that will capture healthcare data from hospital employees.
What is your speciality? (e.g. Regulatory, Sales, R&D, Biz-Dev, Manufacturing, etc.)

What do you hope to gain from attending the BioBeers Meetup events?
I hope to meet like-minded scientists and learn about business opportunities in the science field. Although I don't live in Colorado, I'm interested in moving to be nearer to family.
How far are you willing to travel to attend a BioBeers Meetup? (e.g. Boulder to Denver, Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs, etc.)
I live out of state, but I'm hoping to attend one of your meetings when I visit relatives in Fort Collins. I'm willing to travel up to 80 miles from Fort Collins for a meeting.

CASA is pretty neat. I had an acquaintance who volunteered for them. He spent time with the abused children on his caseload, listening to them, finding out what they felt safe with, and advocating for their wishes within the court system. He was not a lawyer, but he received training to help him do a good job. I thought he probably did a good job, he seemed to enjoy it. That is all I know about CASA at this point. Am looking forward to learning more.
