Introduction
I first heard of Biobeers from Ross Livingston. I am a Pharm D and MBA currently working for Intellyst/Questramed
Communications (Aurora) on a project basis as a clinical writer and researcher.
Please tell us a bit about your current and historical work history.
My background includes hospital clinical practice, sales education, DSM teaching, preparation and delivery of CME and collaboration with government emergency preparedness agencies including public health departments.
What is your speciality? (e.g. Regulatory, Sales, R&D, Biz-Dev, Manufacturing, etc.)
As a clinician I assist in the translation of evidenced-based literature into pharmaceutical sales and marketing talk points that are useful to sales reps. I conduct research, first and foremost, to assess product validity and placement in the market. This involves a clinical strength and weakness evaluation against competing agents in the marketplace to derive a set of possible sales and revenue streams and identify initial S/M targets. I also collaborate with KOLs and network with primary investigators in order to check my understanding of clinical points and arouse interest in new drugs within the greater medical community.
What do you hope to gain from attending the BioBeers Meetup events?
Informal meetings provide a platform to network with other professionals and to learn about their organizations and company culture. Casual but technical conversations can grow into employment opportunities.
How far are you willing to travel to attend a BioBeers Meetup? (e.g. Boulder to Denver, Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs, etc.)
I reside in Loveland and would be willing to travel 60 miles.
