Introduction
Biomedical research scientist eager to network with others in the field.
Please tell us a bit about your current and historical work history.
I have been in orthopedic research for 10 years staring as an undergraduate at UC Davis. I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at CSU studying joint pathologies and therapeutics.
What is your speciality? (e.g. Regulatory, Sales, R&D, Biz-Dev, Manufacturing, etc.)
I specialize in academic based research including the development and execution of research studies and writing grants and manuscripts. I have a certificate in clinical research conduct and management and business development.
What do you hope to gain from attending the BioBeers Meetup events?
It is my immediate goal to leave academia and enter into the private sector industry. In attending the biobeers events, I hope I meet professionals who can mentor/advise about making this transition, and inform about employment positions in Colorado.
How far are you willing to travel to attend a BioBeers Meetup? (e.g. Boulder to Denver, Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs, etc.)
I currently reside in Fort Collins but am moving to Denver soon. Will attend biobeers in Denver, Fort Collins or Boulder, and anywhere between.
